Gilgamesh was scuppered by the gods to have a perfect body. Adad blessed him the courage gods also made him as terrifying as a raging bull. However he was not a good king he was corrupted he took all men"s wife"s bedding them prior giving the couple a chance to do it. Hess supposed to be wise and a shepheard to his people and guide them while being wise however he was a horrible bedding brides before there husbands and peoples daughters it was said his lust leaves no virgin. People were fed up with him and asked the gods to create an equal to him that would counter and balance his actions in a sense creating an equal to him. So the goddess urual built an equal to gilgamesh that would step up to him and keep him in check thus enkidu was created.
