Oldest documented writings in the world (400 bce) First story is from around 500bce 600 bce the second is older and is from the 900bce. The two are combined to create the final genesis book from 400bce. The creation of the world story seems to be an idea from other middle eastern ideas of creation; similar but different. Epic of gilgamesh (1200 bce) influenced the greeks and judaic traditions. Augustine is influenced by roman which then influences christianity. The norm is to believe that everything is christian including last readings. Christianity is monotheistic but many believe in many gods with one single deity created the world with others helping create the rest of the items on the world. In some judaic scriptures god has female like scriptures but in grammar. God is he but this is bc there is no word for he/she in the english language.
