Has to do with concepts, how to analyze concepts. A method we use to probe and clarify the meanings of concepts and so concepts get their meaning conceptually. Language mediates the data experience, and it gives us access to reality. Depends on what context you"re using it in, context, use and meaning. Dictionaries do not give you contextual meanings, just a general meaning. Concepts acquire new meanings and shed pass old meanings, it is subject to change. Some concepts are standardized, they"re fixed and some concepts are in the process of acquiring its meaning. Thought, idea or notion that can be expressed in one word or a compound word. Shared (or in principle, shareable) idea we have of something. Some concepts are relatively new; meanings are not yet fixed or in a process of change. We want to establish clear boundaries where there aren"t any yet, for reasons of policy or ethics.
