Administered by nasal spray: a route that is taken by the virus in a normal infection, it elicits good mucosal (iga) immunity in the respiratory track. Healthy persons: those not at risk for complications from influenza infection. Produced by artificial reassortment gene technology (type c with type a vaccine type, cannot take place in nature) Attenuated viruses express ha and na antigens of the predicted influenza subtypes. Vaccinated with inactivated influenza vaccine but not with live attenuated. Persons with underlying medical conditions: asthma or other chronic pulmonary condition, cardiovascular disease. Healthy persons who live with or care for persons with severely weakened immune systems who require a protected environment. The natural evolution of a virus operates on its spreading capacity, not on its ability to cause a disease. Natural selection favours less or non-virulent viruses. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Genes/inheritance, age, environment, behaviour, viruses, inflammation cancer. Over 100 genotypes: 30 genotypes affect the ano-genital area.
