6. 3 explaining the major features of solar system. The reason of the two major planet. In order to distinguish the planets, we have something like this. There are lots of gas clouds in our galaxy (milky way) + some 10 times heavier than the sun. + they"ve been here since the beginning of the universe (the formation of the galaxy) All subjects in universe have angular momentum (rotation earth rotates on its axis) This cloud rotates slowly (like a pancake), and increase the speed as the cloud contracted. It"s the same when a skater speeds up when she pulls in her arms. Things move at different direction but at the end they move in a plane (like a pancake or a disk) because of the collision between particles in the cloud (makes it flatten to these shapes). +1st: collision between gas particles in a cloud gradually reduce random motions.
