Much of the research on teams tries to make a distinction. Teams are everywhere in today"s organizations, from top management teams in large multinational corporations to undergraduate project teams in business schools. Employers see being a good team player as one of the key attributes of the people they want to hire. In the discussions in this module, we shall follow common organizational practice in using a very broad meaning for the term.
