The good to understand the meaning of life we need to understand what it means to live a human life, what our function is as humans > the meaning of life is thus found in understanding what constitutes. Happiness the only intrinsic good is happiness best candidate for our ultimate goal in life unlike other things since we value it for its own sake__> it is a complete good. Happiness and human function despite the different meaning of the word in greek, aristotle still has to define what even this version of happiness means sine he claims that most people confuse the instrumental goods with the intrinsic goods. Life seems to be common even to plants, but we are seeking what is peculiar to man. Let us exclude, therefore, the life of nutrition and growth. Next there would be a life of perception, but it also seems to be common sen to the horse, the ox, and every animal.
