Liberal internationalism: actively involved in different institutions, forum, and team up with other countries to get things done. Alone we couldn"t create a world to work for us. We couldn"t maintain world peace on our own. The ones who can change the world need some help/guidance. We always see ourselves as the moral council. Without canada, the americans would be lost. Canadians understood that they didn"t want to elect the ndp, the americans wouldn"t like it. Canadians know they shouldn"t have a government that doesn"t get along with the u. s. We choose our prime ministers on how they will act with the u. s. One of our greatest accomplishments was that we were deadweight in nato. Canada tried to make a world that was safer for us. Middle power, biggest of the small powers and smallest of the big powers. We tried to create an image for us.
