Intelligence: those programs that are sold to make your baby smarter don"t actually work. Personality: accounts for individual differences in how people behave, its stable, and long term, your personality doesn"t really change after the age of 13. Intelligence: people differ in their cognitive ability, the study of iq is one of psychology"s key contributions to society. Mental ability tests: iq - general abilities, aptitude - speci c abilities. Personality scales (tests: measure your motivations, interests, values and attitudes. Iq: some people de ne it by what is measured by an intelligence test, wechsler: the capacity to understand the world and the resourcefulness to cope with its challenges, its not really the same as how smart you are. Verbal: information questions, comprehension, math, similarities, digit span, vocabulary. Performance: digital symbol, picture completion, block design, picture arrangement, object assembly. Challenged and gifted groups: are stereotypes and face ignorance and derogatory views.
