We conform because we believe that others interpretaion of an ambiguous situaion is more correct than outs and this interpretaion will help us choose an appropriate course of acion. Acceptance: conformity that involves both acing and believing in accord with social pressure. We conform because we thing this is the right way to act in this situaion. When do we conform to informaional social inluence: when the situaion is ambiguous (eg. fire alarms, when there is a crisis, when others are experts.
