Original intelligence scores were as follows: extremely high is 98+, very high is 91-97, high average if 75-90, average is 25-74, low average is 9-24, very low is 2-8, extremely low is below 2. Corresponding standard scores: 130+, 120-129, 110-119, 90-109, 80-89, 70-79, 69 & below. Our ability to use language to understand information, express ideas and solve problems. Tested by asking a question and listening to the way the person verbally works through the answer. Looks at different pieces and figure out how to put them together to make a whole. The ability to keep information in your mind long enough to work with it.
