Is the multi-racial category an in between group they don"t have the same amounts of rights or privileges are the upper group, yet have more privileges than the lower group. Example between bourgeoisies and working class the working class will never be as powerful as the top group. That"s where the middle class comes into play eases the tensions of the classes. Social interaction: constructed during interactions with others you can"t just claim an identity cannot be done without others because the validation is needed. Identity defines the individuals and must be validated by others. Where are they located: important questions asked about identity. Mutual identification through social interactions: interactions need to be consistent. Biracial identity: what it might mean: border identity. Lies between two different categories mix between blue and yellow. In this identity there are both oppressions & advantages: protean identity.
