The structure of our ego is all of the belief of what we are. This includes personality, talents as well as abilities which are skills. It may seem that the ego is static however it"s an active/dynamic part of us. Id has potential to be destructive (external world) but is formless. The part of a person"s mind that acts as a self-critical conscience, reflecting. Superego is part of personality; has our morals/values acquired from society. The superego is our sense of right and wrong. The superego provides guidelines for making judgments. Superego: over the ego and influenced by the external world. Dominant beliefs and values. it is internalized and repressed. When you think the words should or ought, superego is at work. And this can have repercussions and affect everything.
