Week one part 2: sexual diversity in contemporary social work practice. Polyamorous- person who has a non-exclusive intimate relationship with people they"re attracted to. Pomosexual- person who doesn"t identify with a particular orientation label, doesn"t find them useful, and disregards them. Quasiplatonic- person whose interest in another is closer than friendship but not easily categorized as romantic. Quoiromantic- person who finds the line between romance and friendship perplexing. Sapiosexual- person sexually attracted to people for their intelligence. Skoliosexual- person sexually attracted to gender- variant people. Alia/aporagender- defines gender as other" or apart from existing genders. Bigender- two genders; can identify asboth, or move between the two. Cisgender- gender is same as sex they were assigned at birth. Demigender- feeling a partial, but not a full, connection to a particular gender identiry (also called: demiboy,demigirl) Genderfluid- moves between genders; their gender is not something that they or anyone can pin down and define.
