Nietzsche brings up in the preface that most people will not be able to understand what he is saying and they wont be able to hear what he is saying in this book. His whole philosophy is an attempt to tear down plato and his teachings. He was expected to go into the church as all his family was lutheran but he rejects god and will later be labeled as the anti-christ. He wants to unfold a perspective rather than use a system like descartes would do.
