Document Summary

The answer to the question of whether the freedom of press is in danger is yes. Suppressing other"s opinions is unlikely to change and has been long rooted in communication. Government ownership, control, and action to break up the mass communication agencies deploying information might create better freedom of the press, but it risks killing freedom if it does this. The government plays an important role in communication, and the press and people have the ability to fix the problems concerning the freedom of the press. It is also considered one of the greatest agencies in mass communication. These agencies can continue progress or stop it in civilization. This can cause problems to peace as well. These agencies of communication increase in power as more ways to communicate become available. These new things can spread more lies than we ever thought was possible. The press can be provoking, sensational, and irresponsible at times.
