The science of logical analysis: the analysis of data. Confusion with analytics happens when you try to understand the kind of data you"re dealing with and how it"s collected. Different social media analytic tool types gather different types of data from several different sources. The type of analytics in social media is determined by the data source and search patterns. A lot of organizations and companies ae starting to build their own analytics structure including social media. These processes include integrating data from different business areas and from certain points of data in digital assets for specific purposes in a business. Any digital touchpoint in a company potentially can be optimized to deliver insights by analytics and become a part of the feedback that optimizes the things created by collected data. This means some software combines analytics so the program learns the best approach and applies this in what it does.
