Anxiety and related disorders: anxiety, difference between fear and anxiety. So what does this mean: maybe they share some similarities in the neurobiology of these conditions, gad who knows, main defining feat- there is not one specific direction in the anxiety. Combination of both techniques allows for better long term relief: pd- panic disorder, dsm criteria. Hallmark feature is frequent occurrence of panic attacks. Is an experience where a person feels this overwhelming sense of dread paired with sympathetic activity like increased hr and sweating. It is the fear of being in a situation or place that a person cannot escape to the extent that it affects their daily functioning: why might this develop, no right/wrong answer, treatment.
