Will increase diversity in computer science as incentive to take these courses increases. Hog entire project due on thursday 02/07. Midterm is in 5 days, monday 02/11 7-8pm. Allowed 1 double sided handwritten cheat study sheet. They will also provide a study sheet with core concepts and send to you ahead of time. Midterm is not really on berkeley time so get there on time. Computer science mentors (csm) make a smaller community in such a big class. Get to know everyone in your small section. Check piazza and email for more information. Decide if want to take this course you can participate in their research or not. A number is happy if when you square it, then square each of the digits of that result, again and again, you will eventually reach 1.
