White man have a right to good reputation and black men don"t. When plessy entered the wagon, he trespassed on white men"s reputation (their property) The supreme court noted that it would provide legal equality, but not social equality. The trustees and the pta of lemon grove school district developed a plan to build a special school for the mexican children.
