Challenges- you can ask that a jury be dismissed: bias against, you can use a preempt challenge and you can get someone kicked out right away! (but you only have a limited number of those) You can get a jury in civil and criminal cases: types of judicial remedies: legal vs. equitable. Equitable- you want the physical thing stolen to be returned, not just money. Inquisitorial system- the judge plays an active role in finding the evidence.
