Schema: framework of how we organize and interpret information. Schema consistent: remembering something that was not there. Schema inconsistent material: more people remember these objects. Semantic network: nodes representing concepts joined together by pathways. Retrieval: getting information out of memory from long term memory. Reconstructive snapshots or pictures, not a video misinformation effect: recalled event is altered by misleading post event information. Context cues: put yourself back in the context in which it occurred. Encoding speci city: context is encoded with the stimulus.
