Involved with the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of people with psychological disorders. Training is often done in the education department. Usually trained to deal with less severe psychological problem. Often specialize in family, marital, or career advising. Work in the world of industry and business. Tasks can include personnel selection, human resources, morale improvement, and productivity improvement. School psychologists strive to promote cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in schools. Primary work involves a combination of test and counselling with student, teachers, and parents. Internship: both go to a mental health facility, rotation around the wards.
