As you get older, you have to start caring about property taxes and schools and cars and homes, so you pay more attention to the news and vote and stu . Online news is more e cient and could o er a broader coverage, but you have to go nd it. It also o ers a greater depth of coverage because you can go down the rabbit hole of any topic. More educated people tend to be more liberal. Selection or self-segregation e ects: conservatives look at conservative media and vice- versa. People don"t usually cross over or consider other opinions, so their original ideas are just reinforced over and over. Blog readers appear highly polarized relative to non-blog readers.
