Set of geneically idenical ramets is efecively a close. Need a concept of this for natural selecion that is genet: genet : group of geneically idenical ramets. Break the plant into all of its ramets. It would increase as the ramets increased: primary populaion paramets, unitary organisms : humans, birds, insects. Black pieces not easy to count all in the room. Therefore we want some method to esimate that does to involve enumeraion. cesile organisms organism ixed: establish set of sampling plots. We want to know how precise the given esimate is. Trying to establish 95% conidence level: assumpions : for this to work. No intermixing of organisms as we are doing the couning. Each plot has roughly the same number of organism: criical assumpion : plots are representaive of populaion as a whole. Set up a series of paths that the plane lies. Know the length and detecion on either side of the plan.
