Alicia is the story of a young girl who is suffering greatly with her mental stability. It is written from the perspective of alicia"s younger sister, christine, and what her relationship was like with her sister. The two sisters loved each other, but sometimes illnesses can dominate love. Alicia began to isolate herself in her own mind. She didn"t do it on purpose and didn"t mean to affect the family, but she did. When alicia would disappear and hide, christine thought they were playing hide and seek. Christine once found her sister hiding in the attic to be alone. Another time she found her playing with rose petals in the attic. They would take their food to the cornfields where they could hide away from the world. One time, when they went to the woodland of the black oaks alicia told her sister what i should like is that no one suffer.
