Our writing is either going to be to inform or persuade people. Understand current events, and make sure to keep up to date. Think about what dad does all of the time basically. Getting people in the community involved with professors, students etc. Its different depending on the platform you are writing for. Write in a way that is clean: write clean no distractions, write what you want with the least amount of words. Make sure it flows and isn"t all over the place or (choppy). You want it to just happen you don"t want people to notice your work because its so beautiful, organize the writing, worth talking about (does the reader care about it?) **average reading age in the us is 6th grade*** Write in a way that is clear and important so that even the average person can read it. Page 20 in the book has a really good piece on how to improve your writing.
