Document Summary
Feudal - a strict hierarchy of power, where lords ruled the land and peasants worked it. Marked by the industrial revolution, inventions such as the steam engine. Families left the farm life and flocked to the cities looking for jobs. The invention of the computer chip marked the beginning of a new era.
