Type site = first site where a culture is discovered and where it gets its name. Carmel caves = natufians also lived in caves. A lot of artifacts of the natufian people is found in the carmel caves. Einan = north of the sea of galilee, part of the natufian culture. Preserved because they were not open air sites, but hidden in caves and in buildings as well as in high elevation in mountains.
