Elaborative rehearsal- a method of transferring info from stm into ltm by making that info meaningful in some way. To store things in ltm, info must be acted upon. Nondeclarative (implicit) memory- type of long term memory including memory for skills, proedures, habits, and condictioned responses. Procedural memory- (often called implicit memory) memory that is not easily brought into conscious awareness. Memory for procedures of how to do things. Declarative (explicit) memory- type of long term memory containing info that is conscious and known.
