Friday discussion: describe the lesson effectiveness from a teaching perspective. Our lesson was effective enough where our learner was able to perform our skill - how to perform a proper squat - however, it could have been executed better. Our group should have been more prepared for our lesson. During our lesson, there were times where we would interrupt the teaching process to discuss amongst ourselves about what next steps we were going to teach and if we were implementing the strategies we needed. These breaks stopped our learner"s learning time and their working memory also no longer was in use. As a group, we later agreed it was easier to teach without constantly worrying about whether we used certain strategies. We agreed upon this method around half way in our lesson, something we should have agreed on before. Some challenges we experienced were factors in our environment and adjusting our lesson to our specific learner.
