Ancient art of memory- enabled people to remember amazing things. The greeks thought that memory and creativity were mirrors of each other, two variants of the same skill or attribute. If you remember more, you can draw different connections. The more you know, the more associations you will have for new things you learn. The easier it will be to learn more. Memory palace --> each point in the road you visually imagine to-be-remembered things. What helps you to remember things?-by associating those things with things you already know. Dreams help with this process by embedding recent memories and associating them with existing memories. The traces are left in the pores of the brain. Both descartes and locke stress the importance of repetition in forming long-term memories. Memory is stored in parts of the brain.
