The interaction of these factors results in differential patterns of child development and wellbeing. Modeling involves attempts to replicate attributes or behaviors of others. Reworking involves efforts to modify one"s behavior in order to rectify limitations, shortcomings or absences observed or experienced. May be more central to young children"s development. More efficient and less risky than reworking. Children with good parents who are androgynous or traditional fare better than those with parents who are undifferentiated or cross-gendered. Factors associated with gendered parenting secondary to characteristics of good parenting and positive family function in influencing child well being. Families with well-functioning role-sharing males and females are developmentally advantaged. Fathers differentiate most: fathers enforce the differences more. Choose your favorite or the most useful depending on context or personal preferences (faith in the theory coupled with your values or contextual fit) Beyond theories/ in depth look at moral development.
