MARK 4100 Lecture Notes - Lecture 11: Snack
Document Summary
When coming up with the hypothesis for our project, we originally thought of what types of items we as a group remembered more often. One of the most common responses was items that we buy that others do not typically buy like a certain type of drink or a snack food that made seem peculiar to some. Perhaps people will remember what is a differentiating factor of their shopping list to others because they have weighed the advantages and disadvantages of buying the said product. Along those same lines, we thing that things that are staples in your shopping list on a week by week basis such as bread or milk will also be commonly remembered by the people that we test. These items that people buy every week we believe should easily be remembered simply because there is a repetition of seeing the same price over and over.
