Political powers control technology and uses it to structure society. Technology is a promise for freedom, but freedom is not what is happening. Technology conforms to social conditions; we are controlled through technology; not by technology. Machines could conceivably be the most effective political weapon, given the way it surpasses the power of individuals. Precision, objective power, does not have basic needs. Technology is a tool or instrument at the disposal of those in positions of power. Use machines to satisfy needs of society.
