Today we watched the movie capitalism- a love story by michael moore. Some of the main points to get out of the movie was. What are some of the main points and contradictions towards capitalism. Races, games, and combat were all used to help bring jobs to mainly the poor. Capitalism was/is the process of taking and giving. Some other things to point out is that capitalism only works when we have free enterprise as well as competition. An example of the competition discussed in the film were how way back in the 20th century, celebrities and people of extreme wealth got 90% tax rates. Another example of this would be the strikes that had occurred in the workforce.
