Interpersonal communication: type of communication that only happens between two people (more than 2 is small group) Even if you have a close group of friends you will have your own interpersonal relationship with each person. Reinforces, strengths the relationship, the communication reflects your relationship. Exists on a continuum: know you not that well, or know you really well. Two people come together, and even if you separate, you would still stay as you were because the relationship has shaped you.
