Difficult to find one gene that is responsible for one trait. Usually team of genes that can potentially contribute for something. You can have one of the many, but it makes it difficult to deem gene a as the only factor. Recessive genes carried on the female sex chromosome (x- chromosome) Pattern baldness, color blindness is something that males typically will have expressed (on x and not on y) It is rare in females because the other x with counteract it and there. Expressed in males because there is no matching gene to counteract them.
