Unremitting- unless there is an intervention (generally not something that gets better on its own) High functioning, high performing individuals (school, sports, work, etc. ) However, binge eating disorder is not equated with obesity. Stress induced binges (sometimes from the outcome of particular event) Raises metabolism, but not enough to compensate for the excess calories. Increased risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes. How to find a better response to situations in which binges occur. Look very similar to binges of those with binge eating disorders. Generally starts around late adolescence to early adulthood. Pitted teeth (dissolves tooth enamel, especially on back of the teeth) Reflexive vomiting (becomes hard not to vomit if you train yourself to)
