Ability to become any tupe of cell in an animal except embryonic cells. Glycoprotein hormone that stimulates production of red blood cells in the bone mar. If you have a tear in a lood vessel, plaelets stick to it. Prothalmin becomes thrombin, which stimulates fibrinogen to become fibrin. These strands start to form a patch which stops the bleeding and gives vessel time to. No capilarries ones e marrow e to heal itself, and tissues to regenerate. Just circulates through the body and into the heart in an open system. Seperated circulation of blood and lymph from intestinal fluids. Lymph is plasma that has come out of the blood. Lymph enters the lymphatic vessels to go back to the heart. Low blood pressure past gills (no separate pulmonary circuit) Beating pattern and a septum (tissue wall) mostly seperates the blood flow in. *iclicker* what does mammalian fetal circulation have in common with normal amphibian.
