With mushrooms being somewhat of a specialty vegetable, it is an interesting one to research, specifically in regards to individuals" consumption preferences. The goal of this report is to explore and gain insights into how consumers prefer incorporating this vegetable into their meals and overall diet. Through the use of qualtrics software, a survey was conducted using a variety of qualitative methods that captured many aspects of consumer preferences in regards to mushrooms and their methods of consumption. The results highlighted why people like or dislike the vegetable, what cooking methods they prefer, whether they most enjoy it as a side or incorporated into other meals, and what other foods they find compliments it well. Mushrooms are a delicious and versatile vegetable commonly used by both households and restaurants.
