EDHE 105 Lecture Notes - Educational Psychology
Document Summary
When comparing learning preferences from the book and the video, they have many differences and few similarities. In the book, it talks about and explains all the different types of learning styles to help us students identify what we believe best describes our preference in learning. In other words, the book does not identify any negative outlook about students" learning preferences, but only gives explanations of each preference. There is no reasoning to say that there actually is no such thing as each individual having a learning preference. When looking for similarities between the two, the only thing i would find similar is that they both identify and explain what each of the learning preferences are. However, when looking for differences it is far more evident that the video stands against these preferences. In the video, the presenter is named, dr. Professor of psychology, at the university of wisconsin.
