Ethnic inequalities have a great impact on these minority groups.Evidence from research shows that on an average individuals from black and other minority ethnic groups display greater levels of poor health than general population.Social and economic inequalities are said to be the main reason for this.Identification of population groups based on social,cultural and historic variations leads to inequality which eventually affects economic level as well.
Low economic sources or low income leads to degradation in food quality and health services.Necessary nutrients and basic health facilities are neglected which leads to erosion in health.The younger generation does not get required nutrients for growth which then leads to sicker population.This is how ethinc inequalities may have health influences.
