1) The pH of a 4.26×10-4 M solution of a weak monoprotic acid is 5.30. Calculate the percent dissociation of the acid to 3 significant figures.

2)Calculate the pH (to two decimal places) of a 6.47×10-3 M solution of trichloroacetic acid. A table of pKa values can be found here. If the 5% approximation is valid, use the assumption to compute pH.
