This falls to the philosopher: incorporate within ones thinking the skills of very many professions. Must speak in a personal way to the readers. It falls to the reader to do the philosophical thinking. Had a lot in common with regards to the roles of a philosopher and artist. Wagner did not want to please or entertain but produce a passionate, bold, intense and introduce a grand scale of things.
