Poem 66- dervish, the understanding of ecstasy and is similar to eros. Poem 381- love of allah, all he needs . He needs conversion with the divine and is out of pure love. Ecstasy comes out of whirling motion which is hoped for the union of experience. Then moved to konya, present day turkey. Followers founded mevlevi order- through this we get whirling dervishes. Whirling dervishes- is now seen as a tourist attraction and is illegal (secular) When sufis die they are considered saints, many people go to pay homage to rumi at his burial site.
