Cognitive neuroscience is the interdisciplinary study of the brain activity linked with cognition (including perception, thinking, memory, and language). This approach has helped with finding new ways to understand ourselves and treat things like depression. Today, we define psychology as the science of behavior and mental processes . Behavior is anything an organism does that we can watch and record.
