Eos fell in love with human male named tithonus. Eos asks zeus to grant tithonus immortality, but she forgot to ask for eternal youth. Tithonus grew old and became only a crackling voice. Anthropomrphism- to have human shape, desires, and emotions. They invest in human affairs but do not suffer from them. Sarpedon son of zeus, about to be killed when zeus wanted to save him. Zeus can be human- like but also the upholder of justice and fate in the universe. Gods can enforce morality but not moral themselves. Greeks thought morals and ethics were human responsibility. Human beings make gods to their own image. Protagoras- man is the measure of all things . Humans are the center of all things.
