The universe has always existed, no beginning and no end. It has always and will always exist: the big bang theory: lemaire declared that the universe had a beginning and that it was expanding as a result of something that had triggered. Once it exploded, about 13-18 billion years ago, the immense heat of the explosion caused the fusion of quarks and formation of protons and neutrons. The collision and fusion of hydrogen atoms (nucleosynthesis) also enabled the creation of other natural elements. This explosion also triggered the simultaneous expansion of the universe and the development of galaxies.
