Friday, march 30, 2020 - 9:30 am. Little employees were there, just security and janitorial staff. There were seemingly papier-m ch statues, a large column made out of colourful building blocks, and a huge comic-like painting that read i could have moved to new. York, but i believe in serving my community! Arrived at the art gallery of hamilton (agh) to meet with the curator, melissa, to do our interview. We did not realize, but we actually were arriving well before the opening hours of the agh. To gain entry, we were asked to use the side entrance on summers lane and talk to security. After the interview (which will be discussed in depth with its respective assignment), tanveen and i hung around, waiting for the small cafe to open up to get coffee. It is a social commentary on our individualistic and self-centered society. We decided to do our participant observation within the gallery.
